Department of Craft Design
Craft Design Department Introduction
In 1964, the Department of Arts and Crafts began to be changed to the Department of Craft Design in 1997 and has a 45-year history.
The craft Design Department, with its majors metal crafts and ceramics, is a department where students learn practical and theoretical knowledge through the design of everyday objects that make ordinary life beautiful, and through experimentation with various materials.
The department’s educational goal is to foster design leaders, creators, and craft entrepreneurs with a craft sense necessary to navigate the craft culture industry in the spirit of open innovation.
